• The meeting was called to order at 11:05AM by Jary Rupe (Chap. Coord.) at Coffee and More, in Tularosa. Members present included Jary and Debi W. Rupe (Chap. Sec’y.); Jim and Debbie Jo Burrell; Steve Sandy (Chap. Deputy Coord.) and Tami Foor; Hippy and Cindy Broughton.
Prior Month’s Minutes: Debi Rupe gave out copies of the May 9th minutes. Jary made the motion to approve the minutes as written. The motion was seconded by Debbie Jo and approved.
• Crash Funds collected at the May meeting: $36.00
• Bills submitted and paid at meeting: None
None
• Sgt. Kurth funeral service will be held today at 12:15. A memorial benefit will be held for Katelyn Stinnett at the No Scum Allowed Saloon. The cost will be $10/person or $15/couple.
• State Election/Ballots/Vote: Please bring your ballots to the July 11th meeting.
• State Meeting July 18th: Tony from Coffee and More gave us a bid of $110.00 to provide chili dogs, tea and coffee for approximately 20 people and will help us set up. Steve made a motion to have the meeting at Coffee and More at a cost of no more than $200.00. Cindy seconded the motion and the motion was approved.
Patty Berry resigned as State Coordinator, Scott Guffey is now acting State Coordinator and Dave Covert is now acting State Deputy Coordinator.
• Chapter Officers: It was approved by the members to re-elect Jary as Chapter Coordinator and Debbie Jo as Treasurer.
• Fun Run after meeting: No one could go but Jary. He had a great time and logged over 100 miles.
