Old Business:

• Meetings: The members present voted by acclamation that the regular monthly meetings (and after meeting “Fun Runs”-weather permitting) would henceforth be held

On the: Second (2nd) Saturday of each month at 11:00am At: Coffee and More, 308 Granado St., Tularosa, NM

• Polar Bear Run: Everyone had a great time and we had a number of guests.

• Other Old Business: None

New Business:

• Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Veteran’s Park, Tularosa: Easter is on April 12th and we will need to set up starting at 1:00pm. We are looking for a volunteer to be the Easter bunny. Jim and Debbie Jo will have the coloring of the eggs after the April 11th, (regular monthly) meeting at Coffee and More. If you are “dying” to help, please stop by Burrell’s Easter Egg Kitchen.

• Take Back the Night: We have been invited back to their walk to be held April 4th at 7:00pm. We are asking for a count of how many people are interested in riding in the march this year before we vote on whether to attend at the next meeting.

• ABATE By-Laws: The by-laws were changed in a prior year to allow members of clubs and/or other organizatons to hold office in ABATE. There has been some talk by Chapters and members to resign from ABATE due to the effects of those affiliations. Previously, the by-laws allowed members of clubs or organizations to join and have a vote, but not hold office. Cindy made the motion, after much discussion, to revert to the old by-laws. The motion was seconded by Debbie Jo, and the motion passed. This will be brought up at the state meeting in April.

Next Meeting:
